- Place the additional tissue in RPMI (there should be bottles in the refrigerator in the frozen section room) to the gross room and call the hem path fellow/attending on service. They will come to the gross room to review the smears with you and suggest the best protocol to follow. (COMMENT: More automatic less subject to other people)
