- Learn to evaluate and document common histopathologic disorders of the skull base.
- Learn importance of clinician-pathologist communication including achieving proper orientation surgical specimens, and submission of pathology.
- Appreciate the gross and histologic appearance of common and unusual intracranial, temporal bone and skull base tumors and disease processes.
- Know the indications and recognize staining characteristics of benign and malignant tumors of the skull base.
